Both Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and Fujairah International Airport lie 44 kilometres away, each accessible via coastal highways that trace the emirate's eastern edge. The drive reveals a geography distinct from the Gulf Coast: mountains press close to the sea, and villages punctuate the route with date palms and whitewashed mosques.

Al Boom Diving operates just 400 metres away, offering access to the coral formations and reef fish that thrive in these waters. Summer stretches from May to September, with temperatures climbing past 35 degrees and humidity pressing in from the Gulf. The heat is relentless, particularly in June and July, when the thermometer pushes toward 38. Dive boats still operate at dawn, but midday activity retreats indoors.

Shoulder seasons, April and October, offer a middle ground: warm enough for extended water time without the summer's intensity. The sea temperature peaks in these months, hovering near 30 degrees, and the crowds thin after the winter rush.
