Methodology
Sample: 2418 luxury hotels across 80 countries and 363 cities.
Data source: Hotel perks are catalogued individually from the terms of 53 partnership programs, including Virtuoso, Hyatt Privé, Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Marriott STARS and Luminous, Rosewood Elite, and others. Each hotel's perks (breakfast, room upgrade priority, hotel credit, flexible check-in/out, spa, dining, airport transfer) are recorded from the partnership's published benefits for that property.
Perk analysis: Perk prevalence statistics are calculated across 2256 hotels where perk data is publicly displayable. A small number of brand partnerships restrict public display of specific perk details; these hotels are included in portfolio totals and brand composition data but excluded from perk prevalence calculations.
Brand composition: Hotel brand and corporate parent mapping is maintained manually based on publicly available ownership information.
Limitations: This dataset reflects our curated portfolio of luxury hotels available through travel advisor partnership programs. It does not represent all luxury hotels globally. Perk availability may vary by booking dates, room category, and property.
